Ok, so I'm a little behind on updating my fabulous blog here. I really have no excuse other than that I haven't had a funny thought in DAYS. Do you know how awful that is? I can normally entertain myself for hours and instead I've turned all entertainment obligations over to the television and Gossip Girl. YES! I know :-( I broke down and I bought it. It's been two days and I have to admit... I'm addicted. I could watch over-privileged teens all day.... and why is that?I wonder if there is a direct link between my lack of humor this week and my over viewing of Gossip Girl? Have the elite stolen my funny?
So I totally missed saying this yesterday on here- HAPPY FIRST DAY OF FALL Y'ALL! Now for those of you who don't know me- I love, love, love fall. It's my absolute favorite time of the year; the crisp weather, the calmer attitudes, the activities (haunted houses! hayrides! pumpkin patches! renaissance faire), HALLOWEEN, falling leaves, pumpkin pie, THANKSGIVING. pumpkin spiced candles! So yesterday I posted a status update on facebook confessing my new addiction for Gossip Girl and wishing everyone a happy first day of fall.
This is what the Boyfriend's Mom writes on my facebook:

How is she unaware of this splendid season? I'm stunned... there are people who actually HATE FALL?! Whoa. It's a shock to the system... really. I mean I'm not THAT self-centered. Oh well. To each their own. And does this mean I get her portion of pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving? ;-)

I am in 100% agreement with you. Fall is absolutely the best season. Summer is sticky and gross. I'll happily split her share of pumpkin pie with you and accompany you on any seasonal adventures. ;)
agreed my love! we'll have to arrange an activity. i'm always up for the renaissance faire, but i have 50% off coupons for shoctoberfest although it may be a bit too commercial for me. last year we went to the bates motel and it was amazing, we should all go this year :-)
Uhh hmmm, so now I knwo why you didn't answer your phone or call me back? Gossip Girl, Really?! Anyways, agree about fall, but you knwo that already. I can't wait til it cool the F down here. though it won't be the same as home :(
